paul-smallPaul Sanghera is one of those few people who can say he is a consultant, educator/trainer, speaker, author, project manager, technologist, researcher, and an entrepreneur and mean it. All these skills and experience boil down to one title in which he prides the most: the information entrepreneur. With a Ph.D. in physics from Carleton University, and a master's in computer science from Cornell University, Paul is an expert in Project Management and several application areas including RFID, TCP/IP networking, System Administration, and Java Technologies. He is the author of best selling books in these areas published by well reputed publishers such as McGraw-Hill and Thomson Course Technology.

 As a senior software engineer and an engineering manager, he has been on the ground floor of several successful startups such as WebOrder and mp3.com. Having worked for both startups and well established companies such as Novell, Netscape, and Fujitsu in various roles ranging from software engineer to director of project management, he has a broader understanding of the corporate needs.  He has offered courses and seminars to a wide spectrum of audiences in various settings ranging from university courses to a corporate training seminars.  He has held appointments as lecturer at various educational institutions including San Jose State University, Golden Gate University, and Brooks College.

 The author and co-author of about 150 research papers published in American and European research journals, Paul has made professional presentations by invitation at several international conferences.  He lives in Silicon Valley, California.
